Since finding out that my son has food allergies, I feel like I’m constantly on Google. Whether it’s on some fact finding mission, or out to find a new recipe to try.

I’ve spent hours upon hours trawling the internet trying to find something. And often found that the only information I could find was fact or study based. When all I want to read about, are parent’s tried and tested recipes, and actual experiences. Like when I was trying to plan for Chase’s first birthday party, and looking for ideas on how to manage a dairy and egg free party menu. I literally couldn’t find anything remotely helpful, and ended up just winging it as best I could.

Free From Families Series

Every person’s reason for being free from is different. Whether it be for food allergies, or personal choice. And even then, every experience is also different.

So I decided to set up this series. A place to showcase a wide range of free from experiences, and recipes – straight from the people who made and experienced them in the first place.

Each week on my blog, I’ll be sharing another parent’s free from experience or handcrafted recipe. With the aim of providing as many personal stories as possible for you to read and learn from. I’ll keep track of all of the posts here, so that you can easily find what you’re looking for.

So whether you’re a seasoned free from household, looking for a new recipe to try. A parent of a newly diagnosed child with food allergies looking for advice. Or going free from for health reasons or a lifestyle change;Β and looking for motivational stories to help you take that leap. There should be something for everyone.

If you’d like to guest post in the series I’d love to hear from you. Please send me an email at tina@adventuresofmummyandme.com

Thanks for reading, and I hope that you enjoy the series!
